New Developments in Bioseparations
It’s that time of year again, when there seems to be a biotech/biomedical conference going on somewhere in the world every week, and symposiums covering every topic under the sun. I’ve been contemplating separations lately and the issue of how to remove an enzyme product from mid-to-large-scale fermentations without losing efficiency or activity. In the process of doing my research I’ve come across the 6th HIC-RPC Bioseparations Conference call for abstracts (note: the meeting isn’t until March 2009, kicking off next spring's conference season).
I believe that conferences and the networking opportunities they offer are an important part of business development and this is one meeting I would love to be part of, but won’t be able to attend. If there are any readers out there who are planning to go, or know of other conferences on this topic, I invite you to provide us with a little review of the meeting or info on novel separation technologies and developments in the field.
